Leadership

Pastor & Staff

Devin Livingston

Meet Our Pastor:

Pastor Devin Livingston has served as the lead pastor of Grace since November 2016. He is passionate about preaching the Word of God and pointing people to the life-changing hope found in Jesus Christ. Devin grew up in the Charis Fellowship and is grateful to be serving within the same network of churches that helped shape his faith and calling.

He completed his Master of Divinity from Baylor University in 2008 and has since served in a variety of ministry roles, including associate and youth pastor positions in Texas, Maryland, and Virginia. Prior to coming to Grace, he served at our sister congregation in Calvert County, Maryland, and as a youth pastor in the Richmond area. These diverse experiences have deepened his heart for the local church and his desire to see people grow in Christ-centered community.

Devin is married to Katherine, a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner who works in private practice in Richmond. They are the proud parents of four joy-filled children, Eli (8), Mira (6), Jesse (2), and their new addition Shiloh. As a family, they love spending time together, engaging in church life, and building relationships in their community.

Devin is known for his down-to-earth preaching style, his compassionate leadership, and his eagerness to meet people right where they are. Whether he's preaching on Sunday, leading a small group, or simply sharing a cup of coffee, his goal is always the same: to point people to Jesus and help them grow in their walk with Him.

Above all, Pastor Devin desires to see lives transformed by the power of the gospel and to see the local church flourish as a place of grace, truth, and mission.

Pat Nicholson

Office Manager

Pat has been a member of Grace for nine years and has been Office Manager for two, coming out of retirement to help serve the church. She is one of several “California” transplants at the church and is very happy that God has brought her here.  When she isn’t working in the church office, she’s spending time with her huge family (some of whom are members of the church) usually gathered around a table filled with some form of pasta smothered in a rich homemade tomato sauce.

Elders & Deacons

The Elders

Grace Church is led by a group of Elders tasked to help shepherd and care for the church. An elder is called by God to be a spiritual mentor to others. He willingly serves as a model and leader for the congregation (Acts 14.23; 1 Peter 5.1-4; 1 Timothy 3; Titus 1; Acts 20.28-31). The Elder Council provides spiritual oversight to guide and grow the church.

The Deacons

A deacon is respected for spiritual wisdom and faithful service. The deacon has a sensitive ear to the congregation’s needs. The Bible speaks to this important ministry in Acts 6.1-6 and 1 Timothy 3.8-13. The Deacon Council serves the physical needs of the congregation..
